As part of the “100 Tiny Things” series for the Charlotte International Arts Festival, this trio of compact lockets holds small moments of stillness and care. Each locket opens to reveal a layered photograph and a preserved piece of nature—pressed leaves, flower petals, or soft textures collected from everyday surroundings.
These tiny pieces ask how we carry the natural world with us in small, personal ways. How something so delicate—like a pressed flower or a fleeting photograph—can become an anchor. A quiet pause tucked inside a mirror, hidden in plain sight.
